The Human-Centered Weather Forecasts initiative, AI for Climate Initiative<\/a> (AICE), and the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), with support from AIM for Scale<\/a>, are launching a training program to strengthen AI-driven weather forecasting capabilities in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs)<\/span>. This program will engage with National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHS) and agriculture ministries for the production of farmer-focused forecasts. The program will launch in 2025 with partnerships with 5 countries. We plan to partner with 10 more countries in 2026 and 15 more in 2027.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
